‘Our shadow brings our light’ 🌗 This piece was inspired by the writings of Swiss #psychiatrist Carl Jung - Johnny Cash said: Sometimes I am two people. Johnny is the nice one, Cash causes all the trouble. - We often do anything, to avoid facing our own souls, the most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely with our shadow, but knowing about our own shadow could be the best method for dealing with the shadow of other people, perhaps we judge less and we could be more compassionate? The best political, social and spiritual work we can do is to learn about who we really are and withdraw the projection of our own shadow into others. #johnnycash #carljung #psicology #spirituality

-Sacred Geometry- Sri Yantra can be traced back through Hinduism, and the pattern is said to be the visual expression of #OM Represents the forces that shape all forms in the universe, through two opposing forces: Shiva, the masculine energy and Shakti, the feminine energy. To meditate on the Sri Yantra is to open one’s eyes to the mystery, which is easily revealed when we observe, when we open our eyes to it, when we stop looking at our feet and lift our eyes to the expansive sky and stars above. -To surrender to this notion of ‘oneness’ is the experience that which the Sri Yantra brings to us.

I first learned about Dame Whina Cooper while I was doing some workshops in #NewZealand I thought she was a wonderful lady. She campaigned throughout her life for land rights and social justice for the Maori people. At 79 she walked the head of the #Maori land march from Te Hapua to Wellington as a protest. The slogan of the march was "not one more acre of Maori land"; they demanded acknowledgement of property rights under the Treaty of Waitangi. I wanted to put this piece up while I was in New Zealand, but I didn’t have time so I put it up in the streets of Mexico as a cross-cultural exchange. Thank you to all the lovely Kiwis I met in my trip 🙏🇲🇽✨🇳🇿
